The Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University (Sabauni)
This Catholic institution for higher learning gets its name from a renowned Catholic Georgian scholar, diplomate, author; and national figure who among other things fostered and symbolized the connection of Georgia to the European continent.
Sabauni was founded in Tbilisi by Bishop Giuseppe Pasotto, Administrator of the Apostolic Administration for Latin Catholics of the Caucasus in 2002. Its mission is to provide a favorable academic learning environment based on principles of human dignity and freedom to better serve society.
Students at the institution can study, theology, philosophy, history, business, law, international relations and cultural tourism. The institution’s accredited programs are recognized both nationally and internationally.
